Bellamy Park Match Play Bracket – How It Works

Welcome to the Bellamy Park Match Play Tournament! Here’s how the format works, especially for those newer to match play:

This is a single-elimination match play bracket. That means once you lose a match, you’re out of the bracket—but don't worry, we’ve got a fun doubles event coming up afterward!

How it starts:

Everyone signs up individually.

Once the bracket is full (or interest slows down), we randomly seed the bracket. No rankings—just the luck of the draw!

Once the bracket is posted, you’ll see who your first opponent is.

How matches work:

Each round is played as an 18-hole match play round at Bellamy Park.

You and your opponent will coordinate a time that works for both of you to meet up and play.

In match play, you’re playing to win individual holes—not total strokes. Whoever wins the most holes moves on to the next round.

What happens after the bracket ends? We’ll be running a doubles stroke play bracket after the match play wraps up! So start thinking about who your partner will be and get ready for more fun competition.
