Hello everyone!
As many of you know, our beloved friend and fellow disc golfer Kevin Merrill has recently gone through some serious health related issues when he came down with Kidney failure. This news devastated Kevin and his family. Kevin is the sole provider in his home, and his employment does not offer the support he needs while he's off, so I am running this event to try and help Kevin and Pam raise some funds for rent and other important bills while he is recovering to help take some burden off of them financially.
This will be a 1 day 2 round BYOP Doubles event at the beautiful Tall Firs DGC in Monroe. We will play both rounds from the red pads for a faster day and more enjoyable experience for all competitors Pro and AM. Dips Discs will be on sight vending with a portion of proceeds also going to Kevin and Pam. No trophies for this event just bragging rights and helping a fellow brother out. We are going to have a raffle as well at the end of the day and all proceeds will be going to Kevin and Pam as well. We will have discs, merch, and multiple other items as well as a couple of 6 pack of greens fees credits for Tall Firs donated by the owner Paul Clark!
PayPal payouts for top 3 in each division. These payouts will be limited as we are trying to raise funds for Kev and his family. If you do end up winning some money and would like to just donate it, please let me know and I will make sure those funds get to Kev as well.
