BCDG presents JACK BROOKS OPEN 3- Driven by INNOVA

Bayou City Disc Golf welcomes you to the "Jack Brooks Open 3-Driven by INNOVA"
This PDGA C-Tier event will be played on both the JB Hills and JB Meadows (+4) courses.
All players will play one round on each course.
All amateur players will receive HUGE INNOVA players packs valued at over $100 retail. (please see entry fee/payout structure for comprehensive breakdown of entry fees and payout schedule)
Bayou City Disc Golf, with support of its players, has underwritten expenses for this event including trophies, players pack support, sanctions, pavilion fees, administrative necessities, water and added cash to both PRO AND AM divs, totaling more than $1000



A pool- All Pro and Adv divs
round 1-JB Hills, traditional, all concrete tees (yellow flags)
round 2-Meadows + 4 (orange flags)

B pool- All Int
round 1 Meadows +4 (orange flags)
round 2 JB Hills (blue flags)

C pool-Rec, nov divs
round 1 Meadows +4 round 1 (orange flags)
round 2 JB Hills (red flags)
Am spots capped at 110 players

HQ- Highlands pavilion (near hole 7 Meadows)
SCHEDULE-
Check in- 7:30-8:30am
Players meeting 9-9:15am
1st round Shotgun start- approx 9:30am
Lunch-All players receive 1 hour from when last card is turned in (from both pools) before start of 2nd round
Awards/payout-ASAP after completion of round 2


ENTRY FEE/PAYOUT SCHEDULE-
$30 from each am entry will go to cover players packs + $2 PDGA fee.
(please see flyer with players packs specifics-$100 retail value)
BCDG will pay $3 per player to upgrade players packs to custom event stamped discs and cover shipping.
BCDG will also pay $5 per player for custom event trophies.
(Expect huge, over the top custom trophies)
Divisions will have trophy allowances proportionate to the amount of players in each div.
All entry fee amounts over $32 in each div will go to payout.
ADV-$25 + added cash will go to payout
INT-$15 + added cash will go to payout
REC-$5 + added cash will go to payout
Any monies not spent on trophies will be added to payout in each div.
ANY AND ALL sponsorship monies will be added to payout as well, split among all divisions (pro and am) proportionate to entry fees.

To summarize entry and payout-
This equates to $880 added to AM players.
All ams get players packs.
Most am divs get payout as well.
We will do our to best to boost the payout numbers as best we can thru sponsorship.
No am player leaves without at least a $100 merch value.

HOLE 16 "Chick-fil-A for a year" CTP-
An ace will be considered "closest to the pin"
In the event of multiple, those players may split the prize or CTP after the round at a basket determined by the TD.

(i will have red tees, blue tees and temp holes marked before the coming weekend for practice)
MEADOWS:
GENERAL-
No 2 meter rule
All roads/concrete/parking lots etc and beyond are OB
Tennis court (inside fence or any concrete associated) is OB
HOLE SPECIFIC-
Holes 10 thru 13- water in ditch (right) and beyond is OB
Holes 14 and 15-water in ditch (left) and beyond is OB
Holes 16 and 17- water in ditch (right) and beyond is OB
Hole 18- any water in ditch (if present) is casual. Bridge is declared stacked playing surface (lies under the bridge must play from under the bridge, and lies on the bridge must play from on the bridge)

HILLS:
General-
No 2 meter rule
All roads/concrete/parking lot etc and beyond are OB
Ponds (near holes 9-13 and near holes 15-17)- Water line or Painted line (where present) around pond is OB.
*OB line itself IS OB, discs MUST be touching in bounds territory to be IN-BOUNDS
HOLE SPECIFIC-
Holes 1 thru 7-Water in creek and beyond is OB.
Hole 5- Water in creek (right) and beyond is OB. Any water (left or right) of clearing/plateau is OB.
Hole 8- ANY WATER IN CREEK IS CASUAL
Hole 9- ALL OB (pond) tee shots, player will proceed to DROP ZONE or re-tee. DZ is for tee shots only. All subsequent OB throws can be played from last spot in-bounds.
Hole 14- Any water present is casual. Bridge is declared stacked playing surface (lies under the bridge must play from under the bridge, and lies on the bridge must play from on the bridge)
Hole 16- Water is OB
Hole 17- Any water OB tee shots must play from DZ or re-tee. Any subsequent OB throws can be played from last spot in-bounds. DZ is for pond OB's only. Any street OBs play from last spot in-bounds (or re-throw from previous lie)
Hole 18- Basket ball court is OB.

All 1st place ties will be settled by playoff, a loop of hole 8,9,6,7 in that order
