Ayla’s Anencephaly Awareness Memorial Tournament - 2022

Ayla Gray Little was born on August 29th 2019. At 16 weeks into the pregnancy, Ayla was diagnosed with Anencephaly, a neural tube defect that is not compatible with life. Doctors said there was a small chance Ayla would make it full term and an even smaller chance she would survive birth. Ayla beat the odds and made her appearance at 7:50am she came out crying and she was greeted by tons of family and friends. Ayla passed away at 11:53am while in the arms of her parents Jacob & Sydney Little. Ayla's legacy is not measured by how much time she spent on this earth, but by the impact on those who heard her story.

There is no known reason for the cause of Anencephaly, and this tournament is to help raise money for research, in hopes that some day there will be a known reason and a cure.

The tournament will be a 2 round C-Tier tournament with a shotgun start beginning at 9am on Saturday, August 20th.

Between holes 1 & 18 there is a covered shelter where bottled water will be provided free of charge to players

There will be trophies for the first place finishers in each division.

There will also be CTP prizes on every hole (2 CTPs per divisison) CTP prizes are division protected. Each CTP is a $20-$25 value. If you would like to donate a CTP prize please reach out to Jacob Little or Sydney Little!

Entry into the tournament will also get you entry into a raffle (1 ticket) after the tournament concludes. Several assorted items/gift cards will be up for raffle!

Additional raffle tickets will be available for $2 a piece, with no limit!

Ace pot is available for $5. If no ace is hit, 50% of the pot will be donated and the other 50% will be given to the winner of a CTP throw off following the tournament.

$35 entry fee covers the cost of the tournament T-shirts, division trophies & a custom tournament sticker. The rest of the proceeds will donated the Duke Molecular Research Center to help fund research for Anencephaly..
