The 2015 Aussie Open is the first PDGA Major to be held in the Southern Hemisphere. The best disc golfers from around the world will escape the cold northern winter to head to the hot summer Down Under in January 2015. A guaranteed total prize purse of at least $30,000 will be awarded to the top players in the Men’s Open, Women’s Open and Men’s Pro Masters Divisions. The Aussie Open will also feature an Advanced Division to support participation from the rapidly growing player base in this part of the world.
