Arizona Bound ThrowDown Innova Option Event
About this tournament
This is a fund raising tournament to help Jerome Lockhart, an Advanced amateur disc golfer from Kingsport,TN, with the expenses of traveling to & playing in the Latitude 64 Next Generation Amateur Disc Golf Tour National Championship Tournament in Scotsdale, Arizona in 11/2017. He qualified for the National Championship by placing in the Top 8 at the Regional Championship in Williamsburg, VA in 7/2017. All tournament proceeds will go to helping him make the trip to Arizona to compete.
This will be a 2 round Innova Option event where on each hole, a player can choose to re-throw once per hole, but if they re-throw, they must proceed on from that throw. It's a nice twist & allows much strategizing: Should I re-throw or not?
Amateur players will get a nice players' pack. There will be prizes in many divisions. We will do a putting challenge & driving contest as well.
