ALTERNATE SHOT - The 3 players will throw in an order defined prior to start of round. The alternating will be continuous through all 9 holes. Ex. Player A Tees, Player B Putts and finishes hole. Player C Tees next hole, Player A Throws upshot, Player B Putts, etc... If you start on hole midway through Alternate shot holes, please note who shot last so when you come back to these, you will know who is up to throw.
“YOU HAD ONE JOB” - At tournament check-in each team will designate a specific job role to each player. Each person is restricted to only being able to throw within the rules of their designated job description. Players may use any disc in their bag to perform their respective job duties. Job roles are Driver, Putter, Scrambler.
Job roles include:
DRIVER: The only player on the team that is allowed to throw from the tee. The driver may ONLY throw from the tee and will not participate in the rest of the hole.
PUTTER: The only player on the team allowed to play a lie from inside circle 2 (~66ft).
For throws that are close to circle 2 edge and too difficult to determine whether inside or outside of circle 2, the driver gets to select the teammate they wish to take the shot. Driver cannot select themselves.
SCRAMBLER: The only player on the team allowed to play a lie between the tee pad and circle 2. The scrambler may not even get to play holes, if the driver places their drive within the putter’s range; however, this job will be critical to cleaning up any of the driver’s mistakes and helping the team get up and down the longer fairways.
Refunds:
TRI-FLY Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
-Tri-Fly Disc Golf will refund 100% of tournament fee (excluding Disc Golf Scene Fees) up to 1 week prior to tournament day. In the event of customized items, this time frame may be expanded.
-Refunds requested 1 week to 48 hours prior to event will receive 100% of tournament fee (excluding Disc Golf Scene Fees) IF there are people on the waitlist to take your place. If there is no waitlist: you will receive an 80% refund, excluding Disc Golf Scene Fees.
-Withdraw requests within 48 hours of tournament start will not receive any refund.
