UPDATED INFORMATION
Ok everyone... here's the update on the Anthony's Day 2022 Memorial Disc Golf Tournament Ace Run. A few people have been asking questions so i figured this would be the best way to do it so everyone is up to date.
- Registration for the tournament will be open online until Saturday evening, July 9th, giving everyone ample time to get registered. We will also be taking walk up registrations the morning of, up to 8:45AM.
- This will be a full 18 hole layout. We will be playing two ace run scoring rounds. First round will be played from the shorter tee pads, and the second round will be played from longer, or different angle tee pads. Alternate tee pads will be clearly marked so there is no confusion.
- Ace Run scoring is a bit different than normal par scoring, so for those that do not know, here's how it works:
-Each participant will get two shots at every hole to get an Ace, or hole in one. One shot MUST BE TAKEN with the commemorative Tournament disc, and the other shot can be taken with a disc you choose from your bag / cart. Due to the course being in a public park, and the proximity of the last basket to next tee pad, ONLY 5 SPEED AND UNDER DISCS WILL BE ALLOWED. This includes Midranges, Approach Discs, and Putters. NO FAIRWAY DRIVERS OR DISTANCE DRIVERS. Scorecards will be provided to keep track of the point sysytem, and will be turned in at the end of each round. Scoring works like this:
-Ace - 3 Points
-Chain Hit - 2 Points
-Top Band, Basket Hit, or Metal Pole / Base Hit - 1 Point
-So the maximum score you can obtain per hole is 6 points (2 Aces)
-For the final results, all points will be tallied up for both rounds and that will determine the winning placements.
- First Place Prize - $100 plus random prizes and trophy
- Second Place Prize - $75 plus random prizes and trophy
- Third Place Prize - $50 plus random prizes and trophy
- Tie Scores for placement will be discussed the morning of the tournament.
- We will also be doing a CTP (Closest to the Pin) on EVERY HOLE, for BOTH ROUNDS.
- CTP Prize on every hole will be $10, with a total pot of $360 (36 holes at $10 a piece) paid out above and beyond the Ace Run Scoring. CTP ties will split the $10 prize.
-And finally... the Mystery 19th Hole will remain a mystery until the morning of the event.

Disc Golf Tournament situated inside the city limits of La Crosse, WI at picturesque Myrick Park, just across the street from the University Of La Crosse. Myrick Park’s natural rolling hills and beautiful tree lines made custom designing this ONE DAY ONLY disc golf course a real treat. The tournament will be a 2 round Ace Run style tournament, with more info on scoring and layout coming soon.
