About this tournament
2 rounds of play
We have decided to do a fun, unsanctioned, tournament at Panthorn to raise money for the American Cancer Society. We have both been closely affected with the devastating effects of cancer. Branden lost his best friend, Smitty, to colon cancer, and Meghan lost her late husband, Ryan, to synovial sarcoma. We know how unfortunately prevalent cancer is, wanted to show our support to all who have gone through it, are currently fighting, and gather together for Another Round for Hope.
The first round will be played from the red tees with the three player’s pack discs (Discraft’s - Jawbreaker Challenger, ESP Buzzz and ESP Athena.) The second round will be played from the white tees with an open bag. TackySak’s will also be creating custom dry-bags that will be included in the player’s packs.
If there are less than three participants in a specific division, the division will then be merged with another.
Throughout the day there will be a few tables set up filled with raffle prizes. You will receive 3 tickets as part of the player pack and you may purchase more raffle tickets separately for more chances to win. The raffle prizes will be drawn at the end of the tournament.
We will be accepting donations and hole sponsorships. Donations can be disc golf items or money that we will ultimately add to the total donation to the charity. A Hole sponsorship is $25 and will get you a custom sign to place near the tee of your choice. (We will choose which tee if you have no preference).
Hyzer Disc Sports will be vending during the event!
There will be a board of Hope where you can bring a picture of your loved one(s) to hang up to honor them and their admirable battle, whether ongoing or not. If you send us the photo prior to the event we can print it and add it to the board for you.
