It's that time of year again! The 3rd Annual American Legion Post 208's Angel Tree Random Flip Doubles Charity Event is just around the corner! Sunday December1st, 2019. This year instead of being ran at Brewer Park we have the pleasure of using Rolling Ridge DGC in Calidonia, MI. This is a private course owned by Steve and Michelle Klasen in their very own backyard, 18 holes with Marksmen Baskets! REMINDER This is a private course and is NOT open to the public without invite. Please do not attempt to play practice rounds prior to the event unless you have contacted Steve and Michelle for permission! Thank you!
Just like both years in the past, all you need to play is a Boy or Girl's toy worth roughly $20. There will also be an optional $5 50/50 entry and a $5 Ace Pool entry. If there is NO ace hit, there will be an ace pool throw off (CTP) the winner will receive half of the ace pool with the other half being donated back to the course! The 50/50 will be a CTP hole with the other 50% being donated to the American Legion. There will also be an option to purchase 3 mulligans per player for $10. This money will be split evenly between being donated to the American Legion and being donated back to the course to help Steve and Michelle fund future matinence for the course. All payouts in the past have been donated by myself, other disc golfers, and supporting stores in the local area. I am currently looking for payout donations andCTP/Long Putt donations for the course if anyone is interested in donating any items for these prizes please contact me! Also if you're not able to make it to the event and still would like to donate a toy for a child please contact me and we can work something out!
