Registration is noon to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14. Players meeting is 1 p.m.
You can register ahead of time by contacting Tim Engstrom over email at [email redacted].
Players will compete on 27 holes at the new Riverland Community College course. The first 18 will be the standard course, with the final 9 holes being safari style. Results will be posted at DiscGolfScene.com.
This tournament is being held by the Flying Lea Disc Golf Club, but you do not have to be a member to participate.
Participation is open to disc golfers of high-school age or younger who live in Freeborn County. The top players will win trophies and be part of the Albert Lea team at the Minnesota High School Disc Golf Championship on May 21 and 22. Engstrom will chaperone the trip to the Twin Cities, and the club will cover the costs of gas and lunches.
Get out there and practice. Our hope is that Albert Lea can take the title!
