Kick off the year in style at this non-sanctioned Best Shot Doubles event. The Akron New Year's Day Doubles is an annual fundraiser for Akron improvements.

New this year, we'll be doing tee times so people can play with groups of their choosing. Up to three teams may play on the same card and a new group will tee off every 10 minutes from 9am-2pm.

All groups will be playing the holes 1-18 short to short. As always, there is an optional final 9 holes at no additional cost. Those final 9 will consist of holes 19-27 in the longest configuration.

We will have the Lyons Club building so bring something to share for the Pot Luck

Players should Check In at TD Central at least 15 minutes prior to their chosen tee time.

Cost : $50 per team/$25 per player which includes Ace Pot and Optional Final 9

All amateurs will receive $10 in Play It Again Sports Bucks as their Player's Pack.

Pros will be competing for cash, Ams will be competing for prizes (shirts, hats, discs, and PIAS Bucks)

Each $25 Pro Player fee will be allocated as follows-
$5 to Akron tee pad fund
$1 to Ace Pot
$2 to Final 9 payout
$17 to Pro Prize Pool for Round One

Each $25 Amateur Player fee will be allocated as follows-
$5 to Akron tee pad fund
$1 to Ace Pot
$1 to Final 9 payout
$10 for PIAS Bucks Player's Pack
$8 to Amateur Prize Pool for Round One

Any teams competing in the Optional Final 9 after the completion of Round One may tee off for the final 9 at their earliest convenience as long as they have at least one other team in their group.
