    Learn the basics of disc golf, the rules, and how to play in tournaments around the Northland!

    $50.00 Entry includes a Prodigy Disc Starter Pack (retail value is $37.99). Entry also includes the 4-week training session.

About this tournament

This four-week disc golf session will give you the confidence to join one of the fastest-growing sports in the world! Minnesota has over 400 courses, including one here in Nashwauk.

This sport is for all ages! Disc golf offers excellent competition but also individual growth mentally and physically. It is a wonderful outdoor family sport. The community will recognize and enjoy the investment that was made.

During the four-week session, golfers will be taught the following:

Equipment
Rules and etiquette
Putting
Backhand driving
*Sidearm driving

Each session will be roughly 3 hours long.
One hour training session and the rest of the time will be playing one round of nine holes.

Ryan and Scot Bennett will teach each session. Both have been members of the PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) since 2020 and are PDGA certified to run events and tournaments. Both have also been teaching martial arts for ten years.

Ryan is sponsored by Prodigy Disc, Throw Pink, and Haverland Functional Fitness and holds a second-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and instructor certification.

Scot is sponsored by Haverland Functional Fitness and holds a third-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and instructor certification.
