About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Again the Ace Race will be a fundraiser for ARC Marion, Inc. (arcmarion.org) All proceeds are donated! :) Come on out, throw some prototype Discraft discs, hope for an ace and raise money for a great cause!
There will also be a 50/50, and most metals pot.
If you happen to have your own practice basket, I ask that you bring it. I use it to make a fun last HIGH % chance of getting an ACE :) It's a fun way to end the day. Someone will be staying back to watch the baskets through the entire tournament.
Rules of Play: Players are required to use the player pack discs, and only these discs. If a disc is lost, the player has the option of using the second disc from the pack. Only one throw per player per hole. There should be a minimum of 2 scorecards per group. You will mark “A” for aces and “M” for metal hits. The player with the most aces after the second round is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tiebreaker. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest is then held to determine the event winner.
October 25, 2025 @ 9:30 am we will tee off. Please arrive by 9 to get your player pack. I will be at the course no later than 8 to start setting up the "tees." All holes will NOT be from actual tee pads but from flags no more than 200 feet from a basket. Most are closer to 100 feet. We will play 2 rounds of a modified 18 hole layout, each round from a different set of flags.
Any questions, please reach out to Brian @ [email redacted]
