About this tournament
1 round of play
That's right, putters only! Throwing putters, though it can be tricky, will show you the flaws in your form and teach you how a disc truly flies.
Sign up day of the event onsite by 3:45 PM and teeing off promptly at 4:00 PM
Cost: $5 to play & includes your green fees. Optional $1 Ace Pool (if an Ace is not hit, we will do a CTP for the $ after the event). Optional $4 for Pro/AM/Women payout.
The goal of this event is to get players to practice throwing putter only rounds and see the benefits of doing so. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a new to the sport, you surely have something to gain from throwing putter only rounds. During the event you may throw as many different putter molds as you would like.
If you have questions about a specific mold & whether it qualifies as a putter, simply search out the manufacturer & find out how they classify it. If the manufacturer's description classifies it as a putter, then it then it qualifies. If not, then it cannot be used.
We will be playing the normal Freedom layout. Holes 9 & 13 will be modified for safer shot options around the water.
