About this tournament

Welcome to the 2022 Inaugural AHDG Invitational proudly hosted at the Eagle Creek Regional Park DGC (ECDGC)!

Asshats Disc Golf (AHDG) has partnered with the Eagle Creek Regional Park to host a two-day disc golf event on their amazing property. AHDG is working with the park to offer a tournament layout so far unseen at the course. The focus of this tournament is to create a memorable event that will raise money to improve the courses infrastructure. All profits will be donated to the course.

Thank you to our sponsors! Main sponsors include VPS Canada, Premium Home Leisure and Bridge City League. Hole sponsors: Discrepublic.ca, Allied Denture Clinic, Team Deadly, Lithic Images and last but not least Gary! More to come!

The format will be a 2 day, 3 round, tee time tournament. Tee times will likely start at 8AM Saturday and 9AM Sunday. We will be offering the following divisions: FPO/MPO, FA1/MA1, MA40, FA2/MA2, and all Junior divisions. If there are three or less participants in a division, they will be moved up into the higher division. Payouts will only be 1st to 3rd in each division (this is a fundraiser after all). That being said 1st Place Payout for FPO & MPO will be $500 each! We will use uDisc to keep scores but will likely require paper scores to be turned in at the end of the round since the cell phone coverage is spotty.

Registration opens at 10:00am on March 1 for Hole Sponsors and golden ticket holders ;) General registration opens at 10:00am March 8. If you want to secure a position in this tournament please consider being a hole sponsor

Tournament fundraisers include an Ace Pot and exclusive Birdie Tags. Ace pot will be $5, winner gets half, fundraiser gets half. If more than one person hits an ace, they split the half. Birdie Tags are something really fun Kodiak Designs came up with. They have 18 punch out numbers representing each hole, if you birdie a hole, punch the number out! Simple as that. At the end of the tournament, whoever punched the most holes wins half the pot, fundraiser gets the other half. These are super fun and hopefully a tradition that gets carried for a long time.

The food truck is on site Saturday and Sunday and will offer multiple dishes with a vegetarian and gluten free option. There will be a catered supper included in your registration Saturday evening so make sure you stick around; you won't want to miss it! When registering, you have the option to order another meal if you want someone to come out to join for the evening’s festivities.

21st Street Brewery will be on site for the weekend slinging their awesome brews. Make sure to keep them busy and drink responsibly! There will be a drink cart roaming the course as well to keep you hydrated.

After the second round Saturday, there will be some fun putting competitions, mini top golf, etc. for small prizes. We will play a fun 9-hole glow round Saturday evening and it will have some prizes as well. No additional costs, included in your registration.

Eagle Creek Regional Park camping reservations open April 1 on www.letscamp.ca. There is no early disc golfer registration system so make sure you get in early and reserve your spot! There are both non-electrified and electrified spots. We highly recommend camping. They have a very nice bathroom and shower facility.

All participants will be required to have a Park Pass to enter the Regional Park. The passes work per-car so make sure to car pool to save some cash. We highly recommend you get your pass before Saturday morning as there will be a lineup of non-local disc golfers trying to get their passes that morning as well. All disc golf rounds are included in your registration.

There is very poor cellphone coverage around the disc golf course. Since we will have vendors around disc central, they won't be able to use their usual point of sales system so it's back to good ol' cash! Please make sure to bring extra cash for food (~$15 for a meal) and drinks ($TBD). Escape Sports will likely be on site vending! The Asshats will have a limited run of custom stamped Asshats Invitational discs for sale as well ($25 each).

The registration page will be constantly updated as plans become more concrete.

Thank you for thinking of joining in our fun!
