Due to plow layer numbers, MPO/MP40 and FA1/FA2 will compete in combined divisions for the event only. Registrations will still be valid for the national Aussie Disc Golf Day prizes.

Jesmond and Lambton will play host to Newcastle Disc Golf's 2023 event for the Aussie Disc Golf Day.

The theme this year is Mates. We want to encourage people to bring along a friend and get people playing their first tournament. This theme comes from the UDisc survey which found that 78% of disc golfers discovered the sport through a family or friend’s recommendation. As a result, we will be playing a beginner friendly course of Jesmond Red, 2 bonus holes in Rudd Park, and the full 6 hole layout at Armstrong Park.

The event forms part of the national ADGD 2023 virtual tournament and you have the opportunity to compete against players across the country. The top 3 players from each division take home a custom made ADGD23 mini from Bespoke Disc Golf.

Unlike in the past there will be no disc this year but ADG will give a pile of discs to the clubs that have the most first time tournament players attending. There will also be the usual state vs state rivalries, so get recruiting!
