DC Deaf Disc Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to promote and foster the sport of disc golf within the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community while also providing opportunities for players of all skill levels to connect and play together in the Washington, D.C. metro area, including the surrounding Maryland counties and Northern Virginia. We aim to establish and maintain rules of play, standards of professionalism, and sportsmanship, as well as to promote local, regional, and national disc golf tournaments and competitions for deaf and hard-of-hearing players.
HEARING PARTICIPANTS
"Hearing" players (those who are not Deaf or cannot sign) are not eligible for these tournaments. This event is open to players in the American Sign Language (ASL) community who are fluent in ASL. For "Hearing" players who accidentally registered, refunds are available unless you choose to donate to DCDDGA, in which case you will be recognized as a sponsor of the tournament.
