About this tournament
1 round of play
The 4th Annual Triples fundraiser tournament will be on Dec 7th. This is a 1 round tournament playing all 27 holes.
The 4 divisions are:
Gold: Open/Advanced
Silver: (No player can be over 935 rated)
Bronze: (No player can be over 850 rated)
Mixed (must have at least 1 female)
The TD retains the right to make final determination if a player is eligible to play in the divisions.
Entry:
60$ per team (that is only 20$ per person)
40$ to payout
20$ to course improvements (will be coordinated with Lawrence Disc Golf Club)
Ace: 3$ entry. If no ace is hit a CTP will be on one of the holes as backup
CTP:2$ entry (not a 50/50. all money for CTP goes back to the players)
Format:
Gold will play all blue teepads 1-27 to the longest baskets on holes 3, 18, 19, 20, 25, and 27.
Silver will play all shortest teepads (except for hole 25, and 27 where they will play from the blue) to the longest baskets on holes 3, 18, 19, 20, 25, and 27.
Bronze and Mixed will play all the shortest teepads and shortest baskets
Holes: 1-9 will be Risky Shot (see further down for description of risky shot)
Holes 10-18 will be best shot
Holes 19-27 will be best shot
Best Shot: All 3 players will throw their shot and then choose which of the discs they want to throw from. Players may not choose to throw from different lies.
Risky Shot: Players will determine a set order: Player A. Player B, and Player C. Once that order is set then player A will tee off first. If the team likes Player A's shot then player B and C will not throw. If the team does not like Player A's shot then player B throws and Player A's shot can no longer be taken. If the team does not want to take Player B's shot then player C can throw and Player C's throw MUST BE TAKEN.
The order of your players cannot be reset at the start of a new hole. Meaning: If player A tees off first, the next shot regardless of if its another tee shot or it is an upshot/putt it must be player B. Player C then would follow Player B. If player B makes the putt then player C must tee off on the next hole first
If anyone wants to donate CTPs for this event please let me know ahead of time.
Refund policy. Any refund requests need to be submitted prior to the close of registration.
