About this tournament

Join us Saturday, September 13, 2025 AT 8:00 am start for the 5th Annual Fall Back Classic at Persimmon Ridge Resort, recently voted Newsweek’s #1 Fan Favorite Disc Golf Course in America. This PDGA B-tier event features two challenging rounds at one of the most scenic and exciting courses in the country. We have updated the course of play for ALL divisions! to play the longest round 1st with an 8:00 am start to BEAT the HEAT!

We’re keeping an eye on Saturday’s heat and have made a few adjustments to help us finish earlier (and cooler!):

Shotgun Start at 8:00 AM – Please be at your holes by 7:50 for a prompt start. The pro shop will be open at 7:00 and check in with us to assure all players are present!

Round Order Change – Every division will play the longer round first, then the shorter round second.

Lunch Plans – Lunch will be available for purchase at PR. You’re also welcome to bring your own or head out, but we’ll keep the break close to 1 hour so we can get back on the course and finish strong!

Start Time: Shotgun start at 8:00 AM
Format: 2 rounds of 18 holes, longest round first for every division
Lunch Break: 1 to 1.5 hours after Round 1
Round 2 Start: Announced during lunch

Course of Play - 2nd UPDATE: 9/11/25 1 pm LONGEST ROUND 1ST!:

MPO: Round 1 Gold to alternate pins / Round 2 Gold standard pin & Hole 7 plays from Gold tee box both rounds
MA1, MP40, MP50, MP60: Round 1 Gold standard pin with Hole 7 from GOLD tee box, Round 2 BLUE
MA2, FPO, FA1, MA40, MA50, MA60: Round 1 BLUE/ Round 2 Red (Hole 18 to standard pin across the lake)
MA3 Round 1 and Round 2 RED (Hole 18 to standard pin across the lake)
MA4, FA50, FA2, FA3, FA4, Juniors: Both rounds on Fun Chillow18

Entry Fees: $9 of each entry covers PDGA and course green fees

Minimum of 3 players per division required — otherwise, you may change divisions or request a refund

Payouts & Prizes

Top 40% of Open divisions paid via PayPal (within 48 hours)
Top 45% of Amateur divisions paid via Persimmon Ridge Pro Shop
Junior winners receive a special prize

Optional $5 Ace Pot buy-in
If no aces are hit, funds will support the PR Retreat A-Tier (Nov 1–2, 2025)

Player Perks**

All Amateur divisions receive a $25 PR Pro Shop Voucher to build your own player pack
(must be used by event’s end — can be applied to an Annual Membership)

Ace Hole 1 and win $100 Pro Shop credit

Refund policy

www.persimmonridgeresort.com is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. Cancellations more than 3 days in advance from the event will receive a full refund minus a $5 processing and cancellation fee. Cancellations under 3 days from the tournament date will receive a 75% refund minus a $5 processing and cancellation fee. If you fail to contact us to cancel your spot prior to the start of the event, you will forfeit your entry fee for that event. No player's packages will be given to non-competitors in lieu of entry fees or store credit.
