4th of July Otis Freedom Fling Disc Golf Tournament
About this tournament
This is the first tournament held at the Otis Bulldogs Disc Golf Course at the Otis School. The 4th of July Otis Freedom Fling is a doubles tournament featuring two nine hole rounds.
Check in starts at 1pm. Shotgun start at 2pm.
There are a lot of community activities happening in Otis on this great Independence Day. If you are from out of town, please stick around and enjoy the festivities and stay for the fireworks at the baseball field that evening.
Tournament Rules
The course tee signs show two different "modes" for how the course can be played. One mode is called "Bull Pup". This mode means that the only out of bounds are beyond the extents of the property boundaries, on the buildings, or inside any fenced areas around the buildings. The second mode is called "Bull Dog". This mode has much more out of bounds areas that are in play as indicated on the tee sign for each hole.
The first round will be in Bull Pup mode. The second round will be in Bull Dog mode.
The proceeds from this tournament will go toward supporting the Otis Lady Bulldog Basketball Program.
