About this tournament
Thank you for participating this year in the 4th Annual Monster Labor Day Shootout. This event is a spin-off of my favorite program, “Early Birds,” which used to run every Monday at 10 AM at Alton Baker. Five years ago, Memorial Day was approaching, and we decided that we should run a tournament. It would be a great way to get more players to show up on Mondays. Since Memorial Day was a great success, we decided to do it again for Labor Day, and now here we are!
We will provide clear expectations and adhere to them with diligence. Please provide your correct email address so you can keep up with any changes that may occur as we prepare. Registration closes on September 4th. This year we will not be holding spots or accepting late entries.
The cost of the tournament has increased from last year. As with all things in the past, prices have gone up. To run this tournament effectively, we have to cover gas, flags, scrip, cost of services, etc.
This year’s Shootout will be the biggest yet, with two rounds of eighteen holes! The most exciting part is the opportunity for a life-changing shot. Hole twelve will be in the 300’ position for an open run, and if anyone hits an ace with a Trilogy Disc manufactured by Dynamic Disc, Westside Discs, or Latitude 64 will win $10,000.00, hit it with a Disc from another manufacturer, and win $5,000.00 instead either way, very exciting!
If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
