WE'RE BACK!
It's hard to believe it's been three years, but after two lost years, we are finally back and ready to do this, so get ready for the 4th Annual Gezellig Open Disc Golf Tournament and Beer Festival!
REGISTRATION OPENS MON 9/12 AT NOONMUST BE 21+ TO REGISTER AND PLAY
This is a hybrid disc golf doubles tournament and beer festival featuring 18 breweries. There will be a different brewery at each tee sampling beer, and participants will drink that beer while playing the hole. This year we will feature Advanced, Intermediate, and Rec divisions for men as well as Advanced and Rec divisions for women. There will also be a COED division. Prize packs for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division, as well as beer-themed CTPs on every hole! There will also be optional cash CTPs and an ace pool. 2018 resulted in a nail-biting sudden death playoff, and 2019 came down to the very last hole, so be sure to stick around for the drama. We will announce winners and hand out prizes at the pavilion once everyone is back in.
$60 per player. ->This went up a bit, but so has everything else, including what it costs to put this on now. We didn't want to do it, but had to. But we still think it's one of the coolest player's packs and events you're gonna find.
Participants will receive a players pack with a commemorative jersey, custom-stamped Innova disc, tasting glass, and various schwag, and of course beer samples at each hole.
We will also have a spectator option for $30. Spectators will receive a tasting glass and be able to follow their friends/significant others/complete strangers through the course and get their own beer samples at each hole. The SPEC registration will ask for two participants names as well as a team name, please just enter your name in all three fields. Sorry, there's not really a workaround for that.
This has sold out every year, so you know the deal. First come, first served. Having said that, we expanded to cards of 4 teams in 2019 year to allow for more people, and it worked out great, so we'll do it again! We explored adding some safari holes, but decided that 18 beers was more than enough. So 72 teams and that's it.
We are gonna switch things up a bit this year with registration, and register as teams rather than individually. Everybody has venmo now and can pay their teammates back and it saves me a bunch of back and forth.
