THE WINNING PRIZE TICKET NUMBERS FROM OUR DRAWING ARE POSTED IN 3 PICTURES ON THIS PAGE.
THANK YOU to everyone who bought tickets!!! If you have any of these that you haven’t claimed yet, here is what to do:
- Take a pic of the winning ticket(s) and email it to [email redacted], please include your full name.
- Once I have replied that I’ve seen it, I will put your name on the prize pack.
- You can now discard the ticket(s).
To pick up your prize(s):
We will have a “Raffle Pick Up” opportunity soon, but not until after NADGT is finished.
By then it will be getting dark early, so it will likely be on a Saturday or Sunday, somewhere central.
We will post more info about the pickup date, time, and location next week.

45th Waterloo Doubles Results
WOW!! 216 doubles teams on Friday! 110 Teams played the Olse Course and 106 played the Kelly Course.
THE FULL RESULTS FROM BOTH COURSES ARE POSTED IN PICTURES ON THIS PAGE (4 pics per course). Remember, all the Pro divisions get paid out in cash and all the Amateur divisions, plus the Mixed divisions, get paid out in merchandise – but it is “pick out your own merchandise” from the club’s full inventory.
Sometimes the pictures on DGS get "turned sideways" for some reason and there is no way to fix it. So if that happens to you, you can also get the results here:

If you won anything but didn’t pick up your winnings on Sunday, don’t worry, you haven’t lost them. We keep track of winnings for two years so you can pick them up at future club events like our several league finales and tournaments like Ice Bowl and Waterloo.
The next time the club will definitely have all our merchandise out and available would be our annual Ice Bowl fundraiser for the food bank (usually held around the time of the Super Bowl).

Friday Doubles at Waterloo:
Doubles is just 1 round of 18 holes, and is unsanctioned and open to everyone – whether playing the singles portion of the tournament or not. It is Bring Your Own Partner doubles, Best Shot (aka Scramble).
Teams pay when they show up. The main thing is being there early enough to play. The closer it gets to 4:00pm, the less chance there is of playing because we have to stop teeing teams off about 4:00 so that they can finish before dark. That means even if you show up before the cutoff time but there are a bunch of other teams ahead of you waiting to tee off, you may not be able to play because you wouldn’t be able to start in time.
Our goal is to start teeing teams off at 9am, with signup starting about 8:30-8:45am. Most years many teams have had time to play twice (once on each course or twice on the same course).
The fee is $20 per person. This includes a $7 greens fee for the round, $2 ace pot, $1 to the fundraising, and $10 to payout. If no one hits an ace, the money goes to the fundraising (but that doesn’t happen very often). So for a team the full fee is $40.
Please bring cash to pay for doubles; it is just faster and easier. We might have a Square reader available for credit cards, but that really slows things down. NO electronic payments available.
The competition will be course-specific. All the pro teams who sign up to play the Olse course are competing against each other. They are not competing against the pro teams who play the Kelly course. The ace pot is also course-specific, so we could have 2 aces on the Kelly course, splitting the Kelly ace pot, but none on the Olse course (so that money would go to the fundraising).
If a team plays the same course more than once, only the best score will count.
We will have all the usual divisions: Rec through Pro, and the age protected ones too; PLUS a mixed division (male & female). The mixed division can have players of any skill level – ALL mixed division payout is in merchandise.
The courses will not be open for practice before the tournament. We only have it leased for Friday through Sunday. So if you want to practice for Sat. & Sun., Playing Doubles is your only chance.
Results will be posted on Sunday morning (and if possible we’ll get them up on Saturday afternoon). Awards for doubles can be picked up anytime on Sunday the 23rd.
Show up early on Friday for the best chance to play, don’t wait until late in the afternoon and take the risk of being turned away. Cards will be limited to 2 teams to keep things flowing smoothly.
