The Flyin' Bison Disc Golf Club is proud to present the 40th Annual Frontier Open - taking place September 7-8th, 2024.

Join us "the weekend after Labor Day" for a tournament that promises more than just competition. The Flyin' Bison are proud of the environment of camaraderie and hospitality our friends from all over the US have helped us to build throughout this 40-year journey.

Last year's Frontier Open marked the 40th Anniversary of our Course and Club - and the party hasn't slowed down since! We have many exciting new features to share with you, including updated course amenities, new tee & pin placements, and more.

The weekend starts Friday with OPTIONAL flex-start BYOP doubles (East Course) and Two-Disc Challenge singles (West Course) from 10am-5:30pm. After dark, the Fly-Bi Night Glow Challenge will feature the classic Frontier Park 18-hole loop.

Meanwhile, early check-in for the main event will take place from 3-7pm. Check-in and signups for the Friday challenges will also be at Tournament Central. Tournament Central is located at Frontier Park East (otherwise known as Swinging Bridge Park). You'll see us!

Due to limited parking, we will have an additional parking lot open on the North side of the park (just a par 4 away). A drop-off area will be provided closer to HQ.

On Saturday Sept. 10, all registrants will play 2 rounds of 18 on the famous "East & West" course layouts that are only in use for this event.

Saturday evening the world-famous Bison Chip is taking place. Participants will play our 13-hole ace run layout for a chance to win some cold hard cash!

On Sunday, we will play one final "Monster" round, where each layout is lengthened to test you down the final stretch. Barring any technical difficulties with our weather-controlling instruments, we'll also be turning the wind up for the final round!

Refund policy

Flying Bison Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Refunds MUST be requested ONE WEEK before the event (by Aug 31) to receive a full refund.
