This event will consist of two Ace Race rounds at the Seven Points Pine 9 Course. It will be a modified version of the course (18 unique holes) to fit the Ace Race format with holes 3 (normal Pine 9, hole 2) and 17 (modified Pine 9, hole 9) being ace pot holes.
Score once per hole (Each player gets to throw 2 discs per hole. Player only takes highest scoring throw)
ACE = 5 points
Chains = 3 points
Metal hit = 1 point
MOST POINTS WIN
ADDITIONAL PLAYER PACK add the additional player pack option to your registration and get a 2nd player pack for 25% off or $30 instead of the $40 registration fee.
There are 3 sponsorship opportunities to help finish and improve these new & exciting courses, the primary goal will be to fund permanent signage on the Ravine 18 before next springs Raystown Open.
The Lighthouse Concessionaire will be offering a dinner option during the event. If you would like to buy bagged dinner it will be $10 and you will receive a sandwich, chips, desert, and a drink (Choose this option when you register).
Placement prizes will be given to top finishers and will be chosen out of 12 Lab 2nd discs along with an additional Melon disc.
There is an ace pot option. The ace pot holes will be on holes 2 and 9 of the normal Pine 9 course (holes 3 and 17 of the space race 18 hole layout). Throughout the two rounds players will have 16 total throws at these holes that will be eligible to win the ace pot. Multiple aces will split the pot evenly. If an ace is not hit on these funds will go directly towards purchasing permanent signage for the Ravine 18.
For additional prizes we will be doing a Ring of Fire and a CTP.
Hosted by RAD (Raystown Area Discgolf).
