About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Welcome to the Golden Triple Trouble. This is the 3rd year this event hosted By UnderPar.
This will be a non-sanctioned Pick Your Partner Triples Event, playing Stocksdale Park in Liberty, Mo.
For 2026, Registration will be completed by Team. One person from the Team will register everyone and be responsible for sharing the event information, dispersing the payout if eligible and providing player information.
Round 1 will be Best-Shot Triples, and Round 2 will be alternate-shot triples.
Best Shot is where all three players throw, and you choose which of those 3 shots is the best, and then all 3 of you shoot your next shot from that location.
Alternate Shot is where each player plays in consecutive order. At your first hole, you select who will drive, and then the next person will throw the second shot, and so on. No player would ever throw 2 shots in a row.
Example. Player 1 Drives, Player 2 makes the putt, Player 3 would drive on the next hole.
Another Example: Player 1 drives, player 2 throws and upshot, player 3 misses the putt, player 1 makes the putt. Player 2 drives on the next hole.
There are 3 divisions for this event. Each event has a cash (PayPal Goods and Services) payout. 1st Place is $300 per team and 2nd place is $150 per team. These payouts are based on a full field. If the event is not full, the prize amount will be reduced to match the entries. Each division must have a minimum of 6 teams to be eligible for the advertised payout, along with a total full event.
Pro Teams - Anyone can play
Masters Teams - Every player must be 40 years old or older in 2026
Amateur Teams - Every player must be 950 rated or lower as of the November 2026 rating update. We reserve the right to move a team if needed.
