About this tournament
2 rounds of play
The 3rd Annual Calavera Open returns to Breckinridge Park in Richardson, TX, on Sunday, November 2nd.
This is a one-day PDGA C/B Pro-Am event. Two rounds of singles play on Breckinridge Park’s championship layout, with OB strings and flags in play.
Pro Divisions (C-Tier): Current PDGA membership not required. A $15 non-member fee applies if not current.
Amateur Divisions (B-Tier): Must be a current PDGA member to compete. Renewals or new memberships made after October 1 will carry through all of 2026.
Player Pack
All amateur players receive a Glow MVP disc with the “Ghost” 3rd Calavera stamp. Available molds include:
Full Eclipse Envy
Full Eclipse Hex
Swirly Color Rim Eclipse Insanity
Multiple CTPs in play across divisions.
If no ace is hit during the event, a CTP throw-off will determine winners, and the ace pot will be split among the top CTPs.
Custom trophies awarded for amateur divisions with four or more players registered by October 12.
Entry fees breakdown:
Pro - $3 to PDGA, $5 to park, $2 to TD = $50 to payout
Am - $4 to PDGA, $5 to park, $1 to TD, $25 player's pack = $25 to payout
Flex Start C-tier on Saturday Nov. 1st. 10am - 4pm with all tournament OBs in play

Refund policy
MX Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.
Full refund minus $5 if canceled on or before October 29.
October 29 - November 1st: Refund minus $5 if spot is filled. Otherwise, choose a 50% refund or your player pack.
November 1st - until registration closes: Refund only if your spot is filled.
No-shows forfeit entry and player pack.
Waitlist players who don’t get in receive a full refund.
