A little more about why we run this tournament:
As a club, we are trying to make a positive difference through our actions. We have begun to grow the sport throughout the student population and the community by helping with local clinics, as well as running tournaments that are open to all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to connect the community with the student population to promote a healthy activity that anyone may participate in.
In addition to functioning as a recreational club, we also participate as a competitive team nationwide. Our goal is to represent Chico State in the 2016 National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships (NCDGC). Since we are not recognized by CSU Chico as a competitive sports team, we do not receive any funding from the school. This year the NCDGC is being held April 13th-16th in North Augusta, South Carolina. The CSUDGC holds fundraising events to help get our team to nationals.
