About this tournament

3 rounds of play
The 38th Annual installment of the Frontier Open Disc Golf Tournament will be taking place September 10-11th, 2022. Player Packs are only guaranteed to the first 90 AM registrants.

General Schedule:

The weekend starts Friday with OPTIONAL flex-start BYOP doubles from 10am-~5:45pm on the East course.

New this year the addition of OPTIONAL flex start SINGLES on the West course. This is a 2 disc challenge. You are allowed one putter, and one midrange. That is it. These will run at the same time as doubles, you are welcome to play both during the day. Both signups will be at EAST tournament central w/ So Mint & Ethan. Minimum cards of 2 teams for doubles and 3 individuals for singles.

On Saturday Sept. 10, all registrants will play 2 rounds of 18 on special "East & West" course layouts that are only in use for this event.

Saturday evening, ~5-5:30 the annual Bison Chip ace race will be taking place. Participants will play our 10*-hole miniature layout. A great opportunity to win some cash!

On Sunday, the field will be cut to 120 players and those who make the cut will play our 24-hole MONSTER layout for the final round. Juniors and Rec do not play on Sunday. The rest of the cuts will be below the 45% line in MA2, and the bottom card of MA1.

Refund policy

Flying Bison Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations requested before Sept 8th. Withdrawing on or after that date means you will receive a player pack in the mail if applicable.
