About this tournament

The 34th Annual Frontier Open is a PDGA Sanctioned B-Tier event taking place in Hays, Kansas.

Only the first 90 registrants are guaranteed to receive custom player packs. Those who fill up spots #91-120 will receive a smaller version of the player pack.

The weekend starts on Friday at 5pm with the flex-start BYOP doubles. On-site registration will take place at Tournament Central in East Frontier Park.

On Saturday, Sept. 8, all registrants will play 2 rounds of 18 on special "East & West" course layouts that are only in use for this event. After the second round on Saturday, the playing field will be cut down to 120 players. Recreational and Juniors divisions will NOT be playing on Sunday, and additional cuts may be made to other divisions if needed.

Saturday evening, the annual Bison Chip ace race will be taking place. Participants will play our 9-hole miniature layout. A great opportunity to win some cash!

On Sunday, all players who make the cut will be playing 1 round on the infamous 24-hole MONSTER layout.

Refund policy

Flying Bison Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancelations. Any cancellations made before 9/7/18 at 8am will receive a full refund. Any cancellations made afterwards will not receive a refund.
