About this tournament

The 33rd Annual Frontier Open is a PDGA Sanctioned B-Tier event taking place in Hays, Kansas.
Only the first 90 registrants are guaranteed to receive custom player packs.
The weekend starts on Friday at 5pm with the flex-start BYOP doubles. For more info and registration, follow this link: https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/33rd_Annual_Frontier_Open_Flex_Doubles_2017
On Saturday, Sept. 9, all registrants will play 2 rounds of 18 on special "East & West" course layouts that are only in use for this event. After the second round on Saturday, the playing field will be cut down to 120 players. Recreational and Juniors divisions will NOT be playing on Sunday, and additional cuts may be made to other divisions if needed.
Saturday evening, the annual Bison Chip ace race will be taking place. This year, participants will have the option to play either 9 or 18 holes on our new 18-hole miniature layout. A great opportunity to win some cash!
On Sunday, all players who make the cut will be playing 1 round on the infamous 24-hole MONSTER layout.
