30th Annual Melbourne Open Course preview Innova Option Fundraiser

Thank you for registering for our Innova Option course preview event.  To all that signed up on Aug 14th and after, I have already placed the order for my players packs, to ensure they showed up on time for the event.   I purchased a couple extra packs, but I do not have enough, so I will be giving a Discalibur Stamped disc for those I do not have packs for.   If this is a problem for anyone I will refund their entry fee up til Friday Aug 21st.

For the 30th Annual Melbourne Open we will be having 2 - 18 hole courses built in Wickham Park. designed to test your disc golf skills by my Mad scientist. This flex start course preview event will give you the chance to practice the course under some friendly competition.

You will play the 2 courses at your pace. Pick up your score cards players packs at the tournament headquarters before 10am, turn them in at Tournament HQ before 6 Pm.

This is a good chance to get some practice at these course since you only get 1 round on each at the 30th Annual Melbourne Open driven by Innova fueled by Sun King Discs the following weekend.

What is an Innova Option event?

Innova Option events are one round of singles using standard PDGA rules of play with these specifications:
• Players may throw the prize pack disc in addition to their own.
• Players have the option to replay one throw on every hole. Once
players choose to replay a throw, they must proceed from that
throw. Players must declare a re-throw prior to throwing, and
mark the scorecard each time a re-throw is used. If a replay is not
used, it does not carry over to the next hole.

Entry Fees/ Players Packs
All Players receive an Innova Option Players Pack for their entry

Am divisions $15 entry - $5 donation - Awarding Sun King $25 Voucher to the best overall total round score each division. Also Sun King $15 for the best round score at each course.

Pro Divisions - $15 entry - $5 donation - $10 to Pro Purse per division. Paying the top 3 places for best total round score. Payout will be disbursed online via Paypal or mailed check.
