About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Update 12/2/2025: This event page will be updated in the coming weeks. This will be a two-round C-Tier event. The ACDGC simply wanted to get the event page on DGS to allow players the opportunity to consider playing in this low-key, low-cost event in Garrett County.
Pre-registration required
- No event-day registration will be permitted/accepted.
- This a true-amateur, trophy-only event
Entry fee
- $7 entry fee ($3 PDGA, $3 TD fee, $1 player's pack)
- The "TD fee" is labeled as that in compliance with PDGA rules. However, it goes directly to support current and future Allegany County Disc Golf Club programming
- Player's pack will be bottled water (available at holes 1 and on way to 10
- We like to promise low and deliver high, so stay tuned for extras on event day
- The PDGA will charge a $15 temporary fee to each non-PDGA member (Juniors/parents, call/text 301-338-4533 about this before signing up)
- Completing one round grants each player ACDGC membership for life. Members in good standing enjoy numerous club benefits, including discounts into the few higher dollar events, as well as discounts on discs the club has for sale.
Layout
- Two rounds of 18 holes (1-18)
Our desired atmosphere
- This is a low-key, low-cost event
- Have fun, play by PDGA rules, hit some trees with plastic discs
- No trophies. Winners get bragging rights.
- As Dave Foss says in his summertime "Dave's Dirt Cheap" event at Burke Lake Park: Sign up. Don't. Whatever.
Scoring
- IAW PDGA rules, all players on a card must keep score (or a player's designated caddie)
- All players must have an active uDisc account (free/basic version is fine) and be prepared to check into the event
- All uDisc user accounts must display a player's true/real name
- The ACDGC strongly encourages one player on each card to score with uDisc
- Paper scorecards can be provided upon request. That request must be made no later than 8 p.m. on Friday, March 14 via email only at [email redacted]
Added scoring info
- Most players will use the PDGA scoring app. We made the assumption most players knew this, as most players who have signed up already have a rating. Complete scoring info is to come in the email on Friday evening to registered participants. As this event was put together quickly for the convenience of the local disc golf community, we didn't feel the need to be put every. single. detail. on the event DGS page here.
