Course address: 23 Vick Rd spur, New Waverly, TX, 77358
FORMAT:
Sat: 2 round Shotgun start
MPO,MA1, and MP40 will play long layout
All others will play short layout
$10K ACE BOUNTY (PDGA amateur status
players only) PLEASE READ ALL BELOW INFORMATION
- must be below 970 rated
- only 50 spots available (first come first serve)
- $5 buy in
- 1 chance to ace for $10,000 prize
- hole will be ~300ft
- must be video evidence of ace
- In the unlikely event of multiple aces prize money will be split between contestants.
PLAYER PACKS: All Amateurs will receive a players pack disc from Lone Star Disc. You can pick up players pack at Tournament Headquarters (Red Barn) on Saturday
SCHEDULE:
8:30 - players meeting
9:00 - Round 1 shotgun start
Round 2 will start 90 minutes after completion of Round 1
CHECK IN:
Please check in at tournament headquarters upon arrival. Hole assignments will be posted on PDGA event page link https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/76115
Players should be at their starting holes at least 10 min BEFORE the
9am start time. In the case a player does not show to your card, make sure you have AT LEAST 3 PLAYERS on the card. In the event you do not, one player will go to a forward card, one player back. This can be adjusted using the PDGA Live Score (Contact TD if needed) (936-232-3651)
LUNCH: there are not many restaurants nearby as it is a rural area. 90 minutes for lunch should allow travel if needed to get lunch.
finalized Ties:
All 1st place ties will be settled by playoff, starting from hole 1 and playing until there is a winner. Coin flip for tee order then alternate on each hole.
GENERAL RULES:
All PDGA Rules will be followed to promote fair play for all disc golfers. If any point in dispute is not covered by the rules, the decision is made in accordance with fairness.
The TWO-meter rule IS NOT IN EFFECT!
