2nd Annual Southside Space Race

Good Sports Disc Golf and River City Disc Golf Club are bringing the MVP Space Race back to True Timber on Saturday November 2nd. This is the evening after True Timber Open and it will be a party.

All players will receive a players pack with two glow discs. This year, the discs are a Total Eclipse Crave and an eclipse Range, which is a brand new putter to the streamline lineup. Space Race is a 2 disc challenge during which all players will use the discs from the players’ pack.

At its core, this is an amateur event for fun and prizes. That said, this year we are changing it up a little bit and offering a pro division. If you want to play for cash rather than prizes, we have added a $10 add-on to call yourself a pro for the night.

This is not a sanctioned event and the divisions are not ratings protected, it’s just up to you if you want to play for fun or cash. All participants will be entered into some door prize drawings regardless of division. There is an optional $2 ace pot.

All players will play a mix of red and white tees. Baskets will be illuminated. Shotgun start at 6:30 (come out and party and check in from 5-6). $5 discount with current True Timber membership. In the case of bad weather we will have Saturday December 7th as the backup date.
