About this tournament

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Plant's Putterpalooza presented by Disc Crazy, the only tournament I know of with no cash entry but cash winnings!
This year's Entry fee selected by last year's winner Ron Faucett. Entry fee is/are donation items for Saint Jude. See detailed list below of needs. Items should be brought day of being at least five dollars worth and ideally much more - don't just bring one glue bottle. All items must be new in box.
First thanks to Disc Crazy to make the no cash entry but cash winnings possible. Support them as a thank you for supporting this event.
I have an 18 hole putter course in my yard.
Address is 5242 Shorewood drive, Indianapolis
Pray for no rain this year.
All one division.
This year's course designed with assistance by last year's second place finisher Ryan Beavers.
Prizes:
First place: $60 cash + right to design course next year OR select the charity/entry fee next year ( options I can think include food items, clothing, money, other for whatever charity?) and as approved by me
Second place: $30 cash + right to design course OR select the charity/entry fee next year (whatever first place doesn't select)
Third place: $10 cash
Every ace: $10 cash
Rules/info
No experience required!
Holes average 100 feet in length with varying difficulty/woods and lots of ob. Last year top players shot a -14 (40) and casual players shot over 54 for perspective. This year's course is shaping up to be a little harder but still friendly for all skill levels.
no discs over 5 speed allowed to be used. You will want some mids or driving putters and mix of stable/understable (we will have discs on site to borrow or purchase if you don't have any)
one round. Sign up for tee times. Course likely takes about one hour fifteen minutes with a fivesome start to finish. All fairways criss cross and we use baskets multiple times so one card must finish entire round before next begins. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tee time to check in, get organized, and hear any remaining rules.
Course map and rules will be provided on site and I will always be around as td with final say.
Primarily normal PDGA stuff
I want this to be as much of a hanging out/watching time as it is a playing time. Coming before/ staying after your round to watch others strongly encouraged. The yard isn't huge so you can see most of the course without moving. Camping in yard although likely cold or staying in house spare bedrooms night before and/or night of also certainly welcome / encouraged. Byob and food but be responsible. No weed or illegal substances please.
Tee pads are markers in grass if you're looking for a fancy course this ain't for you
Come practice before the day to see the course. Can't make it that day or play it and love it? Come a different day after all you gotta do is message me.
Non sanctioned hopefully needless to say
If you win something and have left I will find a way to pay you.
Likely to use udisc for scoring
Date subject to change based on weather. Even if clear day of lots of rain the day before will flood it.
