The 2nd Annual Huck 'Em Open is a PDGA C-Tier Tournament & Fundraiser presented by OneStar Disc Golf and powered by Mint Discs!

This one-day tournament will take place Saturday, February 1st, 2025 with an added $200 going to the Pros and $300 from OneStar going toward Am payout!

2 rounds of 18, shotgun start singles, at Moody’s Disc Golf Country Club in Red Rock, Texas
Estimated Prophet – Par 68/67, Fire on the Mountain – Par 65/63

ALL PRO Divisions & MA1: LONGS - EP Course = Blue Flags / FOTM Course = Green Flags
FA1, FA2, FA3, MA40, MA50, MA60, MA2, MA3, - SHORTS - EP Course = Orange Flags / FOTM Course = Yellow Flags

PLAYERS PARTY:
After the rounds are over, stick around for the players party which will include music and fantastic barbecue provided by Johnny V's BBQ!

DINNER & LUNCH: No need to go into town for lunch, we've got you covered with some high quality smoked meats that the great state of TX has to offer... Johnny V's!! Big thanks to John Villarreal for fueling this tournament for the last couple years! Sausages and burgers will be served for lunch and we will have barbecue tacos for dinner. Meals are $15/plate and include barbeque, sides, and dessert!

CAMPING: Camping is $10/night. You may buy at registration or pay at the campsite.

FEE BREAKDOWN:
PDGA Per player fee - $3
Green Fee's - $10 (1 day green fee for Moody's DGCC)

PLAYER PACKS: All Amateurs will receive a Tournament Stamped Disc, Sticker, snacks, drinks and various other items from our sponsors. You can pick up players pack at Head Quarters anytime Saturday, or at Friday doubles.

RAFFLE: Will be having a raffle at the end of the Saturday rounds.

GENERAL COURSE RULES:
All PDGA Rules will be followed to promote fair play for all disc golfers. If any point in dispute is not covered by the rules, the decision is made in accordance with fairness.

*The TWO-meter rule IS NOT IN EFFECT!

■ NO PETS ALLOWED. You will be asked to leave the property if you bring one
■ Perimeter and barbed wire fences are OB. Use the bottom wire as your guide, benefit
goes to the player.
○ The interior barbed wire that crosses the fairway on holes #10 & #17 on
Estimated Prophet is not OB. If you are not currently playing 10 and 17, then
these fences are OB if you cross them.
○ Barbed Wire relief - 2 meters relief. For all shots landing near OB, the card
should give the benefit to the player to take a stance/relief that will avoid injury.
■ Mandatories: Marked with arrows. Assume all are in play even if not marked in hole
rules. Drop Zone will be placed at or near each mando. If for some reason it isn’t marked,
then play from the sign at the first available lie.
■ OB Definition: All additional OB will be defined by paint, flags and/or rope. Marketing
Asset signs next to OB do not define OB. The OB line and flags will define OB. Crossing
on OB from another fairway is considered OB.
■ Hazards: These are playable areas marked with yellow flags. If you land in one you must
take an additional stroke and continue play from that area.
■ The 4 major Ponds (water and beyond) are OB. Other water on the fairway is
considered casual unless clearly connected to these ponds. Please note that OB is
marked on some areas of the pond. When not marked, play the water line.
■ Island Greens/Fairways:
○ Estimated Prophet: Hole #2
○ Fire on the Mountain: Hole #10 & #11
○ If OB from tee, proceed to the drop zone. If OB from drop zone, continue from
last place in bounds.

HOLE SPECIFIC RULES: (Subject to change)

ESTIMATED PROPHET:
● Hole 2 - Island Green. Proceed to the drop zone if you do not land safe off the Tee. All shots after the drop zone play normal OB.

● Hole 3 - Two Mandos →. The restricted space starts at the outside of the tree trunk (away from arrow direction) and continues upwards and outward to infinity. OB surrounding fairway and green.

● Hole 4 – One mando on the left → and one on the right ← . The restricted space starts at the outside of the tree trunk (away from arrow direction) and continues upwards and outward to infinity.
Hazard bunkers marked with yellow flags. If your disc lands in the HAZARD bunker, play
from your existing lie with a ONE stroke penalty.

●Hole 5 - One Mando ←. Hazard bunkers marked with yellow flags. If your disc lands in the HAZARD bunker, play from your existing lie with a ONE stroke penalty.

● Hole 8 – OB Line on left side (between 8 & 9).

● Hole 9 – Two Mandos →. The restricted space starts at the outside of the tree trunk (away from arrow direction) and continues upwards and outward to infinity. OB surrounding fairway and green.

● Hole 10 – Interior fence crossing the fairway is not OB.Two Mandos →. The restricted space starts at the outside of the tree trunk(away from arrow direction) and continues upwards and outward to infinity. OB line painted/flagged on the right side of the fairway after the fence line.

● Hole 13 – One Mando → The restricted space starts at the outside of the tree trunk (away from arrow direction) and continues upwards and outward to infinity. Pond area is OB.

● Hole 17 – Interior fence crossing the fairway is not OB. OB surrounding fairway.

● Hole 18 – OB line for Hole 1 (FOTM course) applies to this hole. The OB line ends at the mandatories.


FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN:
● Hole 1 – Double Mando → ←. The restricted space starts at the outside of the tree trunk(away from arrow direction) and continues upwards and outward to infinity. OB surrounding entire fairway & green.

●Hole 6 - One Mando on right←. The restricted space starts at the outside of the tree trunk(away from arrow direction) and continues upwards and outward to infinity.

● Hole 9 – Hazard Area in fairway marked with yellow flags/posts

● Hole 10 – Longs: Teeing from out of bounds. If you do not cross in bound from the tee, proceed to the drop zone.

● Hole 11 – Island Green. Use drop zone if you don’t not land in bounds off the tee. All shots after drop zone, play normal OB rules.

● Hole 12 – One Mando ← . The restricted space starts at the outside of the tree trunk(away from arrow direction) and continues upwards and outward to infinity.

● Hole 13 – OB line right side of fairway.

● Hole 15 – OB line surrounding fairway and green.

● Hole 17 – OB line left side of fairway.

● Hole 18 – One Mando ←. OB surrounding the entire fairway and green. Drop zone is only for the mandatory ← only.

PLAYOFF – SUDDEN DEATH:
FOM 1 → EP 18 → FOM 10 → FOM 18 in a loop until the winner is decided. Lowest score in the last round will pick who goes 1st, otherwise players will flip a disc to determine who goes first. If tied after 2 holes, the order will flip with the other player going first for the next 2 holes. Play will continue this way until a winner is decided.
