About this tournament
Coldwater Ranch Disc Golf Club presents the 2nd Annual HH Design Studio Fall Classic.
This will be a temporary course design that is being proposed to the HOA which will include new tee placements, basket placements, and an entire new design for players to try out. (Design approved by the HOA! Baskets may be moved into permanent positions before tournament and we intend to get some work done on tee-pads and signs).
This will be a 2 round sanctioned tournament. Minimum of 3 players and maximum of 5 per card. We will have an hour break for lunch from when the last card confirms scores.
Pros will be paid out per PDGA rules ($500 added cash). Amateur winners for each division will receive the tournament jersey with the specific division winner on the jersey.
Amateurs: Top 45% payout will be credit towards merchandise on the shop (link below), including towards the tournament jersey.
Donations:
$25 donation for insurance and general course maintenance and tournament set-up.
$50 donation gets your name on a tee sign.
$100 donation gets your name on the course entry sign.
Estimated course goals include:
$10,000: Move baskets to new positions/temporary turf tee pads or rubber tee pads
$30,000: 18 new tee pads (longs), new signs, course entry sign, new baskets
$40,000: 18 more tee pads (shorts)
Tournament jerseys will be available for purchase at https://hhdesign.studio/ and can be purchased up until the day after the tournament is completed.
Tournament central will be near Hole 1 of the new layout (next to 11922 W Happy Valley Rd, Peoria, AZ 85383). Portable restroom will be by the electrical power tower behind hole 1's basket.
Live scoring through PDGA Live (sanctioning pending).
Parking for the event will be as follows:
- Dirt lot next to 11922 W Happy Valley Rd, Peoria, AZ 85383.
The course can be navigated with a cart, but use at your own risk as the course can be rocky in places.
DO NOT PARK IN OR BLOCK DRIVEWAYS. ALSO, DO NOT PARK ON W. COLDWATER RANCH DR. DO NOT "DOUBLE PARK" MEANING DO NOT PARK ON BOTH SIDES OF A ROAD SO TRAFFIC CAN FLOW THROUGH. IF YOU DRIVE TO YOUR HOLE ASSIGNMENT, PLEASE MIND THE COMMUNITY AND PARK AS INSTRUCTED.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR SPEED AT OR UNDER 25MPH THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY AREA . THERE WILL BE FAMILIES, CHILDREN, AND PETS THROUGHOUT THE AREA AND AT THE LOCAL PARK.
PLEASE ALSO PACK IN AND PACK OUT. PICK UP AFTER YOURSELVES. THE HOA HAS BEEN GENEROUS TO ALLOW US TO HAVE THIS TOURNAMENT, AND WE MUST KEEP THE COURSE CLEAN.
