Will MA1 be the earlier tee times or afternoon tee times for Sunday?

Jeremy Richards   April 6 at 1:08am

Late.. you can find the tee tines on the pdga event page. Been up about an hour or so.

Chris Vandagriff   April 6 at 1:10am

Late group Sunday

Matt Mihovil   April 6 at 2:21am

Thanks y’all!!

Thomas Hapka    April 6 at 12:46am

Non-essential, educational question: on the brock diamond (fpo) pdf page 4, it says that hole 18 needed a pdga waiver. Does anyone know why? (My guess is that the island is smaller than the circle in one dimension… but i dont know. Maybe it’s teeing from the dock. Or the dock’s size. Just curious). Thx! :)

Any time a player is required to go to a DZ after an OB throw, aside from the option to re-tee, a rules waiver must be submitted since normal OB rules in the PDGA Handbook allow you to play from last inbounds.

Jeremy Richards   April 6 at 1:09am

Because it limits the options on the ob throw.. normally you get a DZ or re-throw. This event only allows the DZ option.

Thomas Hapka   April 6 at 2:03am

Thx!

How late will people be at Brock this weekend each day? Trying to figure out what the time frame looks like for when player packs can be picked up.

Thanks

I assume that AM cash outs will be available, Sunday, until 7pm?

Jeremy Richards    April 5 at 12:27pm

Where is the warm up area for TAT? I am not able to confirm via the website or anywhere..

Btw... website is down again.

Walk out of the entrance and across the bridge there is a park across the street you can throw warm up shots @

Chris Vandagriff   April 6 at 1:12am

Website is fine, some ppl are having trouble because of settings in their end. Sorry

Joseph Cooper    April 5 at 4:22am

Earlier instructions said t-times were at 9:30 am. I assumed a shotgun start. I am now seeing my group , MA65, starting at 1:20 pm or 1:30 pm at PDGA.com. Please clarify. Thank you.

Figured it out. All courses will have cards starting at 9am, but you just need to go by PDGA for your specific card.

Chris Vandagriff   April 5 at 11:47am

Your official tee time is next to your name on the PDGA event page.

Thomas Hapka   April 5 at 8:13pm

You’ve probably got it figured out by now, but when it says ‘tee times’, it does not mean ‘shotgun start’. They are two distinct , separate ways to begin a tournament. ;)

Hey Chris and team - played Indian Shores today for first time. Great job getting everything in shape and marked up. Course is an excellent design and fun to play. tough, but fair. Risk/reward and will make you think. everything a player wants in a TX state championship course. kudos.

Seconded! The c pool courses are beautiful, exciting, fun, clean, and challenging. Brock diamond and northside christian are great and indian shores is an awesome addition. All are perfect for ma2! :)

Is A-Tier the same as A-Pool?

Steven Kelso   April 3 at 12:32pm

No. A-tier is the tier of the tournament, A-pool is a group of divisions playing in the A-tier.

Joseph Cooper    April 3 at 7:08am

Will there be toilets at Turtle Bayou DGC ? Thank You !

Chris Vandagriff   April 3 at 1:46pm

Hey Joseph; yes. The parks dept will be opening the restrooms at the rodeo facility for the event. I’ll have this info in the what to know email that will go out later this evening

David Granitz III    April 3 at 3:11am

I apologize if this has already been answered but I can’t find anything here or in my emails regarding TAT / OB. I went and played a practice round today and other than some flags on 18 I didn’t see any noticeable OB marked. Is there any ob on this course? Is there a caddy book / map?
