About this tournament

Thank you for supporting the Tucson Ice Bowl, benefiting the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, part of the national Ice Bowl® series of winter disc golf events that are held each year, with an overall mission of raising funds to fight hunger. (For more information, go to icebowlhq.com)
The Ice Bowl is Tucson Disc Golf's biggest annual charity event and since 1995 we have raised more than $30,000 for the Food Bank.
Some key details:
-- This year we are playing the new permanent DG course at El Rio Golf Course, where we played the Ice Bowl on a special temporary course in 2021. We will play one round on the new, par 62 course, though we may impose some special mandos and OBs and possibly add a few holes.
-- Entry fees includes golf car (all players will ride, 2 per cart) and one drink ticket.
-- Note, we do not have a Recreational division and do not recommend this tourney for players new to disc golf, as we need to maintain a fairly brisk pace of play.
-- Since this in not a PDGA sanctioned event, drinking alcohol will be allowed and each entry will some with one ticket for a regular size beer or soda. The clubhouse will be kept open after the round for food, drink and awards.
-- Part of the Tucson Ice Bowl tradition our focus is on having a fun event with the main aim of raising the most we can to help feed the hungry. We will play according to PDGA rules, except we are continuing our longstanding practice of allowing players to buy mulligans (do-over shots) for $1 each. No matter how many mulligans you take, you must use your last shot.
-- Because of the use of mulligans and stress on fun, entry fees and payouts are low (Pros will get cash, ams merchandise). For purposes of CTP prizes, ONLY FIRST THROWS will count, but you may use mulligans otherwise on those holes.
NO WIMPS! NO WHINERS!

Refund policy

Tournament Director is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Full refunds will be available until March 1, after that entry will be donated.
