The Texas Blazers Frisbee Fling is Back!
Get ready for an unforgettable day at Texas Blazers' 28th Annual Frisbee Fling—a disc golf tournament like no other, right here on UT Austin’s campus! Whether you're a seasoned disc golfer or just looking for a fun way to spend the day, this is your chance to test your skills, compete with friends, and enjoy the great outdoors on the 40 Acres.
What to Expect:
- An expansive 18-hole disc golf course nestled through UT Austin.
- Fun 'closest to the pin' features and similar challenges to win prizes along the course.
- Music, drinks, and an unforgettable atmosphere.
- A community of disc golf enthusiasts ready for an awesome time.
Divisions:
Casual Golfers
- STUD: Student Entry (Only 9-Holes)
Competitive Golfers
- MPO: Mixed Pro Open (18-Holes)
- MA1: Mixed Amateur (18-Holes)
- MA55+: Mixed Amateur 55+ (18-Holes)
- MA65+: Mixed Amateur 65+ (18-Holes)
Competitive Golfers (18-Hole):
Competitive golfers (Divisions: MPO, MA1, MA55+, and MA65+) will receive an exclusive $35 retail-value player’s pack, including a custom fundraiser disk, a custom event t-shirt, Innova stickers, and an Innova wristband. Plus, the golfers in the first place team in the MPO, MA55+, and MA65+ divisions will walk home with a first place commemorative trophy.
Casual Golfers (9-Hole):
Casual golfers (Divisions: STUD) will receive a $15 retail-value players pack including a custom event t-shirt, Innova stickers, and an Innova wristband.
Signing Up:
Team captains will sign up their team of 4 golfers under either the noncompetitive (General Entry) division, or one of our competitive divisions (Mixed Pro Open, Amateur 55+, and Amateur 65+). We require a name, email address, and phone number for all team members to sign up.
Mixed Amateur, Amateur 55+, and Amateur 65+ Divisions:
We've opened up new Mixed Amateur, Amateur 55+, and Amateur 65+ competitive divisions this year for the event. Please Note: to compete in the 55+ division, all members of your team must be turning 55 this year or be age 55/older. Likewise, to compete in the 65+ division, all members of your team must be turning 65 this year or be age 65/older.
