About this tournament

The Tucson Ice Bowl, benefiting the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, is part of the national Ice Bowl® series of disc golf events held each winter with an overall mission of raising funds to fight hunger. (For more information, go to icebowlhq.com)

The Ice Bowl is Tucson Disc Golf's biggest annual charity event and since 1995 we have raised more than $20,000 plus hundreds of pounds of food for the Food Bank.

DIFFERENT LOOK: Because of COVID-19 restrictions banning large events on park courses, we are holding this year's event at El Rio Golf Course, where it also will be a little different because of safety restrictions. We will playing 24 holes starting at 1:30 p.m., in carts included in your entry fee. Since shotgun starts are banned at city courses right now, we will have tee times, starting players on #1 and #13.

CARDS: Cards will be by division, but we are willing to accommodate requests within divisions. This is an adult event, we do not have junior divisions because of the need for speed of play (for older minors, please contact the TD).

MULLIGANS: Part of the Tucson Ice Bowl tradition our focus on having a fun event with the main aim of raising the most we can to help feed the hungry.

We will play according to PDGA rules, except we are continuing our longstanding practice of allowing players to buy mulligans (do-over shots) for $1 each. No matter how many mulligans you take, you must use your last shot. Because of the use of mulligans, entry fees and payouts are minimal (Pros will get cash, ams merchandise).
