About this tournament
1 round of play
Get ready for a once in a lifetime opportunity, the 2026 United States Mini Disc Golf Championship is coming to Buffalo, New York at Larkin Square on August 13th, 2026. This tournament is the brainchild of Matt Dollar when it originated in Lula, Georgia back in November 4-5th, 2017 followed up with the event on December 15-16th, 2018. This year it is being hosted in conjunction with the 2026 PDGA Amateur World Disc Golf Championships that are also being hosted here within the Western New York area. Our goal is to host the largest mini disc golf tournament in the world and you can be a part of it.
This event is on a temporary urban mini disc golf course at Larkin Square (745 Seneca St, Buffalo, NY 14210). We are doing a flex start to allow for people to not be in a rush to make a tee time and to allow for more people to play the course. The event is low cost (free for any person participating within the 2026 PDGA Amateur World Disc Golf Championships) and going to be well worth your time! Each participant will get to take home a commemorative mini disc courtesy of Zing Mini Discs and will also have a chance at winning other prizes depending on how you play. We are playing 18 holes of mini disc golf and the course is going to be short but technical. We are going to have mandatories, out of bounds, and all other types of obstacles to get in your way and send you to bogey town. Aces will be rewarded along with lowest scores in each division but the real winner will be the one who has the most fun.
This event is also going to be occurring during (and at) the Player’s Party for the 2026 PDGA Amateur World Disc Golf Championships. This will give you the chance to play the course, check out on the onsite bar, grab a bite to eat at one of the multiple food trucks / vendors that will be available, and hang out with some of your other competitors.
Please note that any competitor that will not be playing in the 2026 PDGA Amateur World Disc Golf Championships will be asked to pay a $5.00 cash fee for entry to the 2026 USMDGC. That money will serve as a fundraiser for the 2026 Amateur World Championships. Each entry will go toward that event.
RULES:
- The rules of mini disc golf follow typical PDGA guidelines with a few other additional rules as well.

- A putt is considered good when the mini disc comes to rest on top of the basket.
- Out of bounds throws are played from where they lie.
- Refer to the course signage for hole specific rules.
