About this tournament

1.) REGISTRATION AND PRICING DETAILS
Day of entries will be permitted but availability will be limited, and we cannot guarantee day of entries without advanced notice if you do not show up BEFORE 9:40!!! Please sign up on DGS even if you can’t pay at the time, we can collect payment during check-in (8:30-9:30AM).

ACEPOT BUYINS WILL BE COLLECTED THE DAY OF THE EVENT

Membership renewals include:
• A new club tag
• A new 2026 SLO Throwers performance hoody
• Discounted entry fees for all Tuesday and Saturday weeklies
• Entry to the $4 members-only ace pot at each weekly

The costs for the tournament will be as follows:
• $50 to purchase a membership.
• $10 entry fee for tourney which will all go to CASH PAYOUTS
• $1 to buy into the $1 ace pot (PAY DAY-OF)
• $4 to buy into the $4 ace pot (PAY DAY-OF)
• EAT GAS BURGERS ARE A SEPERATE CHARGE NOT INCLUDED

(That means if you want to buy a membership and play with no ace pots your total would be $60. Membership + Entry Fee + Ace Pots = $65)

We accept cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal.
The Laguna AND Sinsheimer ace pots will be combined and available this day only...plus whatever ace pot buy ins we get for the tournament!
AMOUNTS AND NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO WILL BE PAID OUT WILL BE DETERMINED BASED OFF OF THE FINAL NUMBER OF ENTRANTS PER DIVSIONS.
****$10 PER PERSON PER DIVISION WILL BE THE SUM OF THE POT PAID OUT FOR EACH DIVISION.

2.) TOURNAMENT DETAILS
On Saturday, January 10th the SLO Throwers will be hosting our annual Bagtag Renewal/fundraising tournament at Laguna Lake DGC. Help us continue maintaining and improving our courses!

Tournament format will be one round of singles with 27 holes, with a used disc sale and Ring of Fire for prizes afterwards. Check-in and day of signups are from 8:30-9:30 AM with a player’s meeting at 9:45, and a shotgun start at 10:00.

If we have 3 or more players per division, we will have 4 different options to sign up for as follows:
1. Amateur
2. Advanced
3. Open
4. 50+

Scoring will be done manually on old school paper cards.

Temporary holes will be setup to complete the 27-hole loop.

Eat Gas smash burgers will be for sale on site once your round is over! For those of you who have never had one before, you haven't lived yet! Geoff is a local and fellow disc golf player and will be selling his incredible burgers for a couple hours for us!
Also after the round, we will selling all of our used discs for cheap, as well as a Ring of Fire putting competition for a prizes including a brand new black hole portable basket. Ring of Fire is a group putting competition where everyone putts at once from the edge of circle one. If you make a putt first round you move on to the next and so forth, last person standing wins! We will also have at least 1 hole during the round with a CTP competition for a prize.

3.) DAY OF NOTES:
We cannot emphasize enough, please be on time. If in the unfortunate event of someone being too late, we may not be able to wait to begin gameplay.

ALL PLAYERS must check in at the Gazebo for registration even if you are signed up on DGS.
We’ll be meeting at the gazebo/BBQ area located on the back half of the course between the basket for 10 and the tee pad for 11.

Please park respectfully and responsibly, parking for players WILL NOT be available at the gazebo. We recommend occupying all marked spots before parking along the road.
