The Masters {{{Equalizer}}} Tournament is a specialized disc golf format that enables players of varying ages and skill levels to compete on the same course simultaneously by using staggered tee pads and an adjusted scoring system.

Tee Pad Assignments
Players are assigned to specific tee pads based on their age group or division to "equalize" the field:
Masters Over 50 (MA50+ / MP50+): Play from the Short tees.
Masters 40–49 (MA40 / MP40): Play from the Middle tees.
Exception: If a hole does not have a middle tee, this group plays from the Long tees.
Open Players (MPO): Always play from the Long tees.

Scoring and Format Principles
The format is rooted in handicap disc golf principles, aimed at creating an equitable environment where a player's performance is measured against their expected skill level rather than just raw strokes.

Adjusted Scoring: "Equalizer" By adjusting the physical distance (tees) and the final score (handicap), the tournament allows older masters and younger open players to appear on the same leaderboard with a fair chance at winning.
Competitive Integrity: Despite the adjustments, the tournament follows standard PDGA Official Rules regarding order of play, marking lies, and hole completion.
