About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Welcome to San Francisco Disc Golf Club’s 3rd Annual Women & Juniors Tournament:
The Marx Meadow Miracle!
This year’s event has been moved to June 20th. We’ve always envisioned this tournament as a summer event. Since this is a 2 round 1 day event, we need all the daylight we can get.
From the beginning, this tournament has been about one thing above all else, community. MMM was created to bring together women and juniors from across the Bay Area and beyond for a day of friendly competition, encouragement, and connection.
Women and juniors are still some of the most underrepresented groups in disc golf, with juniors making up around 6% of PDGA memberships and women around 7%. But despite those numbers, there is absolutely no shortage of talent, passion, dedication, and community within these divisions. Women disc golfers have built an incredibly strong and welcoming subculture over the years. Forming tight knit friendships and support systems that often last far beyond tournaments. The same is true for juniors and their families, who create meaningful bonds through the sport and through traveling and competing together. The goal of this tournament is to continue creating a space where these players feel celebrated, supported, and encouraged, while providing a consistent annual event where those lifelong friendships and connections can grow.
This year’s tournament will take place on Saturday, June 20th as a PDGA C-Tier event.
Divisions FA4, MJ/FJ 8, 10 and 12 will play a single round with shotgun starts in the morning.
The remaining divisions will play two rounds with shotgun starts in the morning and afternoon.
Consider being a sponsor to help support the growing presence of women and juniors in the sport we all love.
