About this tournament

The 2026 Kooky Noosa Challenge - Supported By Innova is a PDGA sanctioned C-Tier event held at the Libby Dam. This is a two day event being held on August 29 & 30, and is a part of the Montana Point Series.
Lunch will not be provided over the weekend, so be sure to bring your own food and snacks! There is also no cell service on the course - prepare accordingly. There is a Verizon wireless cellphone booster at the visitors center along with public WiFi (password required). The town of Libby is 17 miles away, heading south on Highway 37.
Camping will be different this year than in previous years. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is now doing a reservation system for camping. Dunn Creek Campground, Alexander Creek, and Blackwell Flats are all now a part of that reservation system. Reservations open 4 days before intended use so be sure to check on that and set yourself a reminder! I'll continue to work on seeing if I can get us any space reserved but at this point my hands are tied. For information go to https://www.recreation.gov/gateways/251.
