About this tournament

The 9th Annual Innova Discs Myrtle Beach Open is excited for another year of awesome! A special shoutout to Innova Discs, Another Round Myrtle Beach, and the Myrtle Beach Disc Golf Club for being incredible partners year in and out and helping make this event possible with next level community support.
2026 will feature a field of 148 players, playing three rounds at the beautiful Splinter City Disc Golf Course. Divisions will each play two different layouts, mixing in alternate basket locations on each hole for round two on Saturday. Although we wish we could host the normal 300+ players this year, at the moment we don’t have another championship level available.
The better news is that we look forward so much to debuting the new 18-hole course at Socastee in 2027 & getting back to the huge party we know and love!
The MBO is more than just A-Tier level competition, we are all about a fantastic disc golf experience. The MBO is a week long adventure in Coastal Carolina, with something to do every day like the Hek Yeh Putter Party, to MBGlo night on Friday... The beach is calling your name, and we're waiting to give you all a memory making good time. If you haven’t been, ask your friends that have and they will tell you how much fun the week really is.
Competition will be tee times across all three days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Professional field will see added cash aplenty, media coverage, and a beautiful course that will test every shot in the bag.
Amateur Divisions will see a trophy-only top tier competition, with an awesome player gift pack! We keep the details under wraps until the teasers start flowing leading up to the event. We always deliver the goods!

Refund policy
The Myrtle Beach Open is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. The MBO strictly follows the PDGA refund guidelines as laid out in the PDGA Competition Manual, and all refunds will be deducted a $10 processing fee. All waitlist fees are NON-REFUNDABLE $10.
