About this tournament

Welcome to the 2025 Wildcat Showdown! This is a 2-round C-Tier event ran by the Kansas State University Disc Golf Club (KSUDGC) as a fundraiser for our competitive teams this upcoming 2025-2026 season. We will also be taking any donations throughout the course of the tournament; donations can be made in person or online here: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=3VY3QDR8B3D3C. We do not expect donations from competitors or spectators, however we deeply appreciate any donation given.
The player pack will include the choice of disc between a Colton Montgomery Metal Flake C-Line PD, Limited Edition Glow Active Premium Magician, Active Premium Rockstar (all first come first serve at registration). A shirt with a Wildcat Showdown logo, and towel with either a KSUDGC logo or Wildcat Showdown logo. Any extras leftover from the players pack will be up for sale in between rounds, and after the second round has concluded.
We will start both rounds by shotgun. The first round will be all long pads to red baskets. The second round will be a shortened version of the Fairmonster layout we play in our conference event. The caddy books are posted for both layouts being played, the caddy book for the Fairmonster layout will give you a good idea for that specific layout, since it is a safari layout on the park.
We will have a raffle tickets available for purchase before the first and second round, and for a short period after the final round. The raffle will be held before the award ceremony. Prizes are still TBA.
There is also going to be an optional Ace Pot. It will be $3, in the event that an ace is hit, the person/persons will get the pot in its entirety. However, if no ace is hit, the ace pot will go to the club as a donation.
Payouts for Pro divisions will be made electronically through the email used when registering for the tournament. All Amateur payouts will be done as store credit through Dynamic Discs.
